Themes in Twilight Princess: The Nature of True Wisdom

Of the Triforce’s three virtues, wisdom is seemingly the most misunderstood. Many mistake wisdom for intelligence or for such vagaries as an IQ score. Perhaps the most widespread perception of wisdom is the sort of common sense knowledge that is gathered through aging.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess goes against these notions and conveys wisdom as not just subtle wit or knowledge, but taking action when necessary and accepting responsibility for those actions. Twilight Princess advises that wisdom can be found where it is not expected, but also cautions that it is not perfect.
