Much to the delight of science fiction and alien fans around the world, Sega revealed back in 2006 that it would publish a Gearbox-developed Alien game based on the Twentieth Century Fox movies.
At this year's GDC, GameTap caught up with Gearbox president Randy Pitchford, who provided a little deeper look into that game, Aliens: Colonial Marines. Due to hit PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in 2009, Aliens: Colonial Marines is a first-person, squad-based shooter that takes place before, during, and after the second film, Aliens, and is a wholly original game that incorporates some changes into the Alien universe.
