Top 10 badass females in the Resident Evil franchise

GameZone writes, "The Resident Evil franchise has had its fair share of exceptional characters, but none more badass than the female cast. Claire Redfield all the way! Why isn't she in more RE games, Capcom?

Also...none of the generic cardboard cut-outs from Operation Raccoon City should be on any "best character" or "most badass" lists. Lupo, seriously?

Tdmd4202d ago (Edited 4202d ago )

I agree. Seriously, she was just a lost civilian looking for her brother. Not special forces, spy or military. Just an civilian girl. And she, not only survives, but also invades an Umbrella facility to have another round while she keep her own investigation! That is badass.

I hate Ada... And why are the movie characters on that list?!

Also, Sherry and Claire FTW!!!

Myst4202d ago

I feel like I am the only one here who likes Ada, but I will admit I liked Lupo in ORC as well.

Kurylo3d4202d ago

ada was cool in RE2, seemed like a more real character, of course RE2 felt more like a real experience. Now every character is just a cardboard cutout from some D grade generic action film.

Ada in re4 was just the corniest thing on earth.

Shouldn't this article be called '10 females from the RE franchise'

Its not like there were 100's to choose from is there.

Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica Remakes are reportedly in the works, not Resident Evil 1

Industry insider Dusk Golem reveals that there is no Resident Evil 1 Remake in the works. Instead, Capcom are reportedly in active development of Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica.

-Foxtrot24d ago

RE Zero would be better to do first over RE1 because they can tie the story into RE1 more.

The original RE Remake was weird because Rebecca never mentioned anything about what happened in Zero and it felt so disjointed because Zero was developed during the Remake and they clearly didn't share any notes with one another.

Wise decision. 2 of my favorites!

Eternal Darkness was way ahead of its time especially for a Nintendo exclusive.

I would love to see a remake or sequel (multiplatform)
