GodisaGeek: "Fight for Fortune is a decent enough card game but, played alone, it quickly becomes dull. A lack of real imagination hamstrings the fun, and you can only look at still screens for so long before you lose your mind. That said, playing with others changes the pace and raises the challenge significantly.
Despite small issues like long load times, uninspired audio and no animation, it does present a fairly compelling case. Not particularly deep or especially clever, Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is at least pretty good at what it does."
Evan Schwab from Bit Cultures writes:
"Sure, in video games, we generally adopt the role of a ‘hero’ who battles his/her way through countless foes, often ending their lives. And often we celebrate these heroes because they provide us with entertainment and humor, and, through all the cold blooded murder, tend to save the metaphorical day. Nathan Drake is no stranger to this collection of heroes, but he – and so many others – appear to boast some sociopathic characteristics."
"Check out our brand new mini series about the PS Vita! We think a lot of games should have come to the handheld. This episode we talk about Uncharted: Fortune Hunter for iOS." -- Enthusiast
"In a refreshing bit of honesty, Sony recently confirmed that not only have they set a date of June 10th, 2016 for the Uncharted movie, but also confirmed it will be awful. " | Explosion.com
I don't think we need a satire article to tell us that
After Seth Gordons comments on the film, it's going to be like every other video game film
It's possible that this video game adaptation will be awful, not Mario Brothers or Street Fighter awful, but nowhere near the quality of the game and that'll be bad enough.
Why would they invest on this movie? yes the games are great, but all video games turn movies are terrible. Need for Speed? Prince of Persia? Mario Bros?
I agree @ Lord Maim
Silent Hill was a great movie, not to mention one of the best story games on video games.
