STP: We like to see longevity on the App Store, and Build-a-Lot just received its fourth entry in the series (surprisingly quickly, too). Unlike the relatively underwhelming last entry, Build-a-Lot 3: Passport to Europe, this one builds on the established strengths of the series while shedding some of its weaker features.
GodisaGeek: "This week we’re taking a look at Build-A-Lot 4: Power Source from Hipsoft, Revolve from Piñata Games, Nitro Chimp from C2 Game Studio and Man in a Maze from SmallGreenHill."
"Here's hoping Build-a-lot 4 can get things rolling again."
Those were the closing words of my Build-a-lot 3 review. I wrote them less than a month ago.
Build-A-Lot 4: Power Source is a frantic game of time management and strategy that will have you furiously tapping your way to energy efficiency. The added task of securing energy for your buildings really adds a lot more strategy to your gameplay, but in a fun way. It has a ton of levels to play, and your choice of various modes as well, meaning you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck.
