Threespeech has posted some images from Gran Turismo 5: Prologue.
iLLGaming contributor Anikait Makkar writes about the gaming industry's current business practices, and how it affects the consumer.
free to play no matter how good the game is if it is a free to play i dont play.
i want to pay full price for a full balanced experience unlocks shouldn't be earned by money but by the hard work you put in the game.
my free to play nightmares are borderlands, diablo, titanfall,w arhawk 2,halo and star wars battlefront.
Worst business practices
Paying to play online (PS+, XBL)
Season passes
disc locked content
Paid DLC (DLC should be free unless it is significant enough to be an expansion)
Paying to use your own internet, DLC (all of it, I'd rather have expansion packs with a ton of content), DLC coming out a week after the game's release, incomplete games with missing sections sold as DLC, pre order bonuses, short and pointless campaigns, not having server lists (like COD which insert you into random games and maps), expensive and permanent digital prices, yearly sequels with minor changes at full price, lack of challenging AI, lack of originality, and most of Micro$ofts "business practices." This may sound like a hateful statement, but I blame M$ for bringing most of these things to consoles. I remember when there free and inexpensive map packs on Live in the early years of 2006 and 2007, then they started pinching pennies.
Who else here has been gaming long enough to remember when paying $50 got you the WHOLE game? No left-out content sold as DLC, disc-locked content, season passes, outfits, avatars, etc.
Excuse me, I need to go have a cry at what has happened to my beloved hobby.

Chillopedia.com | PlayStation 3 is the hot favourite console in the console gaming community. Game developers know this and they try to make the best out of it by introducing addictive and interesting games now and then. We have compiled a list of top 10 driving games for PS3.
that is nice! excelent!
I almost want them to tone down the cars a little (photo realistic), for they make the people look like crap.
Needless to say, the game is gorgeous. I just wish it handled differently (i.e. burnout).
Not to start a flame war or be biased, but... PlayStation exclusive games are what push the envelope, and in turn allow better games for all, which is why I will most likely only buy/support "PS3 only" games like; this, uncharted, r2, kz2, ...................
I think devs should spend more time and focus on the sixaxis.
(though i only played the demo) I think folklore was on the right track.

looks good, but those people look the same in every screen (except for their clothes)
Unfortunately, the fact that the cars are pushing 200,000 polygons each almost forces Polyphony Digital to lower the polys on the characters.
I am still blown away that there are 200,000 polygons per car....it's nuts...that's a little over 2X what we've seen already.
I read somewhere that Forza 2 pushed 80 or 90 thousand polys per car, and PGR4 was somewhere around 100,000 per car.
I also am reeling from the fact that this is a first-generation racing game for the PS3.
I can only dream of what we'll see after this.
Amazing!
