5 Things Nintendo Will Need To Do To Make The Wii U A Success

With the Wii U being released tomorrow in the US, and later this month in Europe, its a perfect time to consider how the success of the console will be measured. How will this console be perceived in the future – will it be held up on a pedestal like the Nintendo 64 or the SNES, or will it be the forgotten child that no-one talks about, like the GameCube? In order to understand this, I’ve been thinking about what it is that have made good (and bad) Nintendo consoles in the past, and have come up with a list of what I think the big N need to do for people to view the Wii U as a success.

True, I felt sorry for really good games like Xenoblade Chronicles, as by that point everyone (including developers) had given up on the Wii, and the game wasn't marketed at all. I only stumbled upon it by chance - I'm glad I did - but it certainly showed a sad state of affairs.
