Tokyo Marui to Release Resident Evil 6 Themed Gas Gun

The gun has a tentative title of “Sig Custom”, and is modeled after Leon S Kennedy’s weapon in the latest Resident Evil title. Scheduled for a Spring 2013 release, the gun is available to adults aged 18 and over for the low-low price of 27,090 Yen. Gas and BB bullets are sold separately.

They already did that a while back with the RE Dessert Eagle. Wanted to have that gun but it was hard to find specially in my country.

No way this thing comes to Australia.

TM is so 5 years ago. They still refuse to adapt to the demand for full metal.

Can't deny though, they make good guns. I would far rather have my TM Glock 18c than my WE m1911 MEU, which always leeks gas :(

True but I would rather have my ksc g23f back over the tm glock :). Shame I had to sell it. Thing was a beast with the extended mags.

Might have to pick one back up from ehobby soon.

I'll keep my TM Mk23 over anything made before or since. Easy on gas and shoots better than anything else I have tried.

You can always buy metal slides and there are certain mod restrictions in certain countries regarding metal parts. I do love my KSC's but gas these days are getting expensive so I use my aeg's more often.
Nothing you can do about WE's except modify the mag to improve the gas leakage. I really avoid any WE product since they use poor materials.

I think ksc gbb pistols are just as reliable as TM. Also you don't have to pay another $60 for a metal slide after purchasing the gun.

As for your gas price question, are you using green gas? Propane is the EXACT same thing with the added smell. Just buy a adapter and make sure you add silicone to it. It is so much cheaper than green gas, to the point where I laugh at people using green gas.

Now as for using a gbb as a primary, it's a no at least for me. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to. It's really just not feasible. Not with the other AEGs that will be on the field. Not to mention you pay almost the price of the gun to get a substantial amount of mags. Even then you might have 8 mags ($400 at the average price of $50) with 30-40 rounds a mag....
