Sounds good and bad and good and bad.

That's really unfortunate about the touch-screen sensitivity. That's no small issue.

^^ Agree. I noticed the sensitivity/lack of response the first time I used a demo unit. Scrolling through the games in the coverflow-type UI, I found that sometimes my fingertip wouldn't "grab" the item I selected.

That said, I doubt it will be a severe problem. I bet that it's something you just have to get a feel for.

Its actually pretty good because when it count *playing games* you will have exact precision with a stylus instead of trying to play Ninja Gaiden with angry birds precision.

personally I think the gamepad sensitivity shouldn't be that bad. the 3ds screen works fine with fingers its people are used to the light touch of capacitive screens on resistive you need to be a bit more heavy fingered light touches on resistive don't register that well. I'm used to both types of touch so if the ds/3ds screen is anything to by it shouldn't be too bad.
