It certainly looks interesting! I want to buy it, but am short on money right now... Plus it's close to Steam's Winter Sale, so hopefully it'll be on sale as well. :]

I agree, I also wanna buy it on steam sale. The game is already cheap so a discount would make it even more worth it.

But I am very happy for them, indie companies like this should succeed and make an example to other indie companies.

But don't you agree that the game content is well worth over the asking price of 24.99?

Also, what side are you interested to play as? Kharaa (alien species) or Frontiersmen (human space marines)?

Snookies124184d ago

Oh I would agree it looks worth 24.99 for sure. There are just a number of reasons I'm waiting a little longer to get it. I'm honestly interested in playing both sides. I love how different they look, and it looks like it would be a blast to play with friends online.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear it's doing so well!

So it only made 5 dollars for every year of development? What a shame....

lol

It looks really fun but I'm waiting for a good sale. $5-7 is my price point for this one.

This along with Xcom and Hotline Miami are my personal games of the year so far. Definitely worth the money if you can afford it.

DarkFireHawk4183d ago

Totally agree with you one that. What side you prefer to play as? Kharaa (alien species) or Frontiersmen (human space marines)?

I like Kharaa, there is something new and unique about them that you can only see in this game. The RTS part of the game totally blew my mind :D

Big_Mex4183d ago

I enjoy both sides but I tend to like the aliens a little more than the marines since they're much faster and can use the air duct routes to get around the map quicker. Both sides are a blast to play though and yes the RTS part is what makes it stand out from every other shooter this year.

I couldn't really get into it at the time but my buddy did and really liked it. He said he got the crap scared out of him once or twice.

An Xbox One port of Subnautica is in Development

Destructoid

"I love Subnautica, the fantastic underwater survival simulator currently being developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. I will never shut up about how good it is, and I will never stop demanding that everybody with a decent enough PC play it. Now that game has been announced to be coming to Xbox One, the number of people I can badger into playing just shot up."
