Closing comments from the review by Patrick Kolan of IGN AU:
"There are a few little control quirks and the camera perspective can be irritating, particularly when enemies are obscured behind pillars and walls, but there is still a polished and well-considered sheen to Final Fantasy: Revenant Wings that pulls this title to the front of the shelf for us. It has as much depth as we can ask for a true real-time RTS based in Ivalice, with some of the best production values this side of a first-party Nintendo release. It's good to be back in town once again."
Revenant Wings made significant, brave changes to the Final Fantasy formula and it's for that reason that it should be reintroduced to the fanbase.
Square couldn't be bothered remaking the DS KH games for the collections so it's safe to say they won't bother with this game ever again
I love how we never got a nice little sequel/prequel for VIII or IX but somehow XII and XIII did...boggles my mind
Hidden amongst the more popular sequels are several others that have largely been forgotten - many of them for good reason.
