MP1st | Need for Speed: Most Wanted Review

MP1st - Welcome back to Paradise City, now named Fairhaven City. You’ve got a brand new locale to play with and a diverse collection of real life cars to do the playing in. But it soon goes from Paradise to Hell because it’s a mish-mash of Burnout and Speed gameplay which doesn’t work in this city.

I agree. I've been playing this and it really doesn't work that well.

The handling model they chose to use is, ugh, crap, they should have stuck with Burnouts more arcadey / responsive handling model. I wanted to love this game because it's from Criterion, and they've made so many good games - but ultimately it's just a tame version of Burnout Paradise.

@ chronojoe

you hit the nail on the head that is exactly why i did not buy it nor did i buy (CRITERIONS) hotpursuit im used of having right analog stick for forward an breaking left analog stick for direction.
and your right again this is nothing more than a tame version of BURNOUT PARADISE with cops.

also wanted to love this game compare to blackbox studio version. only possitive i can say: graphic are crisp and clear.

im glad more people begining to realize this is craptastico game.

Why Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) Still Holds Up To Modern Racing Games

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is still iconic mainly due to its corny storyline, its superb gameplay, and the unforgettable BMW M3 GTR.

Its the best one in my opinion
