Around The Web Vol. 8: Steampunk

Steampunk is the retro futuristic sub-genre that depicts the Victorian era as a science fiction alternate universe. Ya, I had to look it up. Sort of confusing but think of it as technology advanced while steam power remained the dominant source of energy. Its definitely aesthetically intriguing, although at times totally unrealistic. Mainly steampunk was done with clothes for costumes, but now anything can have a steampunk makeover.
