Sons of Anarchy game is “dead”, states series creator

Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter really wanted to turn his show into a game. Like, really. Recently he’s been pitching Rockstar and FOX to make his dream come true, but nobody was buying the pitch. So unfortunately for series fans, it’s not happening, he says.

Sutter took to Twitter to vent his frustration and to bolt-gun the project, “I’m done. No interest from industry, little support from Fox. It B dead.”

I would have loved a GTA style Sons of Anarcy game. The series is one of the best on TV right now. Way better than the Sopranos, the Wire and Breaking Bad ever were.

Sopranos was overrated. Wire never seen and breaking bad saw a few eps that were good. Never seen sons of anarchy though. Well I did see clips of the first season couldn't get into it. They would have to hire real good devs/writers to pull off a game.

I seen all the seasons many times, extremely overrated show. At some points I found certain stuff that should of been taking serious, comical.

Sons of Anarcy started off average in the first season but every season after that has gotten better and better. I highly recommend downloading and giving the series a chance if you have time to kill. The same with the Wire another great show

Don't get me wrong, breaking bad is a great series too but it has too many episodes were very little happens in each or 5 minute scenes with no talking at all. Sons story moves at the right enough pace for me.

Are you talking to me about not appreciating good dramas. I didn't say any of the shows mentioned were bad. I mentioned those because they are my top 4 favorite tv shows. I was just saying Sons is the best of the 4 in my opinion.

I agree that it is one of the best but I would have to disagree with you on it being better than Breaking Bad. I think they are both up there with the top TV shows right now.

I thought the idea of a sons game would be awesome. I didn't know anything was actually being done.

Might be good that it is cancelled though. Sad that it is his dream but tv shows turned into games or movies or whatnot usually results in a sub-par product.

For the most part true but this is different since we already had a taste with GTA Lost and Damned and it was badass.
It's a shame but let's hope for Lost DLC for GTAV.

Best show ever was The Shield. Written by the same guy. It had a video game, and it failed hard.
