Borderlands 2: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty Review [Gamer Euphoria]

Gamer Euphoria staff member Rob writes:

''Avast, me hearties! Last week, Gearbox released Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, the first of four DLCs planned for Borderlands 2. Tasked with finding the fabled buried treasure of Captain Blade in a lush desert environment named Oasis, players are quickly set to work in true Borderlands fashion: kill, loot, repeat.

That’s not to say that Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty is dull. Gearbox have done what a lot of developers can only dream of; they have created DLC that is actually worth the money. 800MSP (or 2400MSP for the Season Pass, which includes this and the next three DLC) gets you 30 new missions, all set in and around Oasis and its many outlying areas, new bad-ass challenges to complete, two new raid-style bosses and a very engaging and funny main story. Oh, and a new vehicle: a Star Wars-style sand skiff that wrecks face.''

Three paragraphs? This must've taken you ages to write...

It's DLC that barely adds anything new, instead it's more of the same. What would you expect? a repost of the Borderlands 2 review with this part added on? Please be realistic. Or at least apply common sense to your 9 word post. Must've taken you ages to write...

Permission to repost this to all the other sites that had much more to write about "more of the same".

As for my nine word post (your way with numbers is impressive, by the way), it took me as long to write as it took me to read your review.

I do appreciate your concern, but i will refer you to the first reply i gave you. I'd also welcome you to post on the actual post on the site so the author can address your concerns. If you have that much trouble typing i can send you a link to some guides to gain a some speed.

Why? It was a weak argument the first time I read it - will a re-read change anything?

If I'm honest, I wanted to spare you some embarrassment - hence why I posted on N4G and not GameEuphoria, thereby bypassing your direct readership. On reflection, perhaps I should've reconsidered that decision at the time...

Your aptitude for patronisation has me awestruck, so yes; I would welcome any typing guides you can supply - on the condition that more effort went into writing them than your DLC review. I know, my request might sound steep, but please understand I'm reluctant to experience the same feeling of dissatisfaction from the same source twice in 48 hours.
