"I’d like to start by saying, and I’m being completely honest here, I was hoping Dishonored would be mediocre. Maybe even terrible. Not because games that try to blend several core ideas commonly end up being something that isn’t quite realized (such as Inversion), or an absolute mess that cause you to wonder who in their right mind would release such a product (Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, I’m looking in your direction). Rather, I was hoping for mediocrity because the upcoming season is packed with a slew of must-play games, leaving my time and money at an exhausted strain. Regardless, with all the hype and anticipation for Dishonored, it didn’t take much for me to take the plunge."
