The Wii U version of FIFA 13 lacks some of the biggest features introduced in this year's Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, including FIFA's new First Touch System.
But will next year's Wii U version achieve parity with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of FIFA 14?
And this here is why this industry is faltering. Devs have a responsibility to their own business; it is they that help drive the hardware and so make more money for themselves. There is absolutely no justification for the 'wait and see' policy that we're seeing here. To give Wiiu owners less of a game because they first want the Wiiu to be successful is criminal to my mind.
Modes are one thing, but actually game engine features are another. This is like releasing a shooter on all consoles but cutting 'ducking for cover' from the PS3 version and then waiting to see if it's successful to justify adding it in. In the future -- if this industry fails -- people will look back at developers like EA and Activision and realise just why.
Hes saying that wii u versions will get TLC & parity if it sells well & its worth the time, resources, & effort..
Wii U has a lot to prove to not only core gamers, but developers as well.. Even if Wii U sells more than the Wii, if ppl dont buy 3rd party on it, it wont ever get the proper development outside of 1st party...
Last I heard, EA restricted FIFA's features like they did with all other Wii U titles.
So, I will say no. EA made an effort to make sure that none of the games they are releasing on the Wii U will be best, and therefor not worth purchasing. I believe that effort will succeed and they will get the poor sales the strove for.
