GodisaGeek: "The biggest problem of all is that unless you are an Angry Birds obsessive, or simply do not own the necessary handheld device, there isn’t really anything new here to warrant shelling out for a game that costs a fraction of the price elsewhere. However, in the context of things, this is still a cheap Xbox game, given the huge amount of content on the disc. 700 levels is enough to keep anyone going for bloody ages, and the game is fun, simplistic and difficult to hate on.
I will point out at this stage, that up until the morning this game landed on my doorstep, the cultural phenomenon that is Angry Birds had completely passed me by. That is right folks, I had never so much as looked at a bird careering towards a startled pig. I am glad that I finally got a chance to enjoy it after all of these years. Finland, I salute you."
Today, Sony has released its charts for the month of March, sorted in PS3, PS4, PS Vita and PS One and PS2 Classics.
Infamous is set to take the number one spot of any next gen game released thus far. Im calling it.
Infamous SS is cheaper to buy on PSN than it is in retail stores by $10.
So I'm totally unsurprised it's doing so well :)
I'll say it again: the PS4 is more geared toward digital. This means it's likely for big titles to see proportionately more digital sales than their Xbox counterparts.
Just got the plat trophy 5 minutes ago. Def deserves all the sales it gets. Not as good as the other 2 infamous games but def the best launch window game I've played yet.
The Vita gets some love this month, with some interesting games cut some decent price cuts.
When it comes to Angry Birds Trilogy for the PS Vita, there are two pretty enormous elephants in the room, along with one slightly smaller one.
Activison love money. I won't buy it for 45$.
Funny how Rovio tagged Nintendo's retail games "$40 pieces of plastic", yet now they have their games as one of those so-called "$40 pieces of plastic".
The author of the article mentions he never played it before. To this day I still haven't played it as I simply don't care for these types of games. I watched my wife play it on her tablet once and it still bored me.
"However, in the context of things, this is still a cheap Xbox game"
Not really, it's an extremely expensive port. Nothing about this game strikes me as being worth more than its asking price on iPhone.
