NZ Gamer - Leading the sports news tonight, Saturday’s one off trans Tasman rugby league test has ended in another loss for New Zealand. While there is nothing new there, what is new is Rugby League Live 2 from Australian developers Big Ant Studios. Promising hundreds of leagues and teams, game breaking off-loads, devastating shoulder charges, and - most importantly - a chance to take the Kiwis to a win over the Kangaroos.
Tru Blu Games has now announced the new DLC that will be out for Rugby League Live 2.
GG writes: It's great that Australian devs are making games for Australian audiences, and in fairness this sequel at least shows they're heading in the right direction. There is potential here. But yes, there's still a long way to go before this could be considered a solid sporting game.
IGN: "A noticeable step up from the original but still let down by inconsistency."
Id love to see a Rugby game with the budget/production values of Madden. (Not to mention a Cricket game like MLB The Show.)
Dont bother pointing out that this will never happen cos I already know this.
