PSN Scheduled Maintenance October 15th

The PlayStation Network will be offline for scheduled maintenance from 13:00 BST on Monday 15 October 2012 to 02:00 BST on Tuesday 16 October 2012

Don't understand the time they've gone with for the update. Why take PSN offline all day on Monday when they could start the update around midnight and have it back up in time for lunch the same day.

different countries for psn...uk time is different from usa time and japan time so midnight for you is daytime for someone else....so no matter what time they start it...it will be down somewhere or another....plus they have been talkin big changes with psn store so maybe that is the maintenance seeing how its on a monday

Yea I guess, didn't really think about it like that. I have Monday off work and was planning some DOA5 online time but guess i'll have to find something constructive to do.

Its better than them doing it on Tuesday or Wednesday, when the PSN has to be updated.

And when new games release. That was getting annoying for a while. Get the hot new game, PSN goes down late in the evening.....lol
