GIZORAMA - Sherlock Holmes is easily one of the most iconic figures in pop culture. He is one of those characters that are near instantly recognizable, no matter the medium he is portrayed in. Heck, even merely saying the word “detective” conjures up images of the British mystery solver (unless of course, you have been living under a rock).
So, when developer Frogwares decided to craft a new video game entry to the Sherlock Holmes saga available on major consoles, surely they had some big shoes to fill, right? Thankfully for fans of the character, the developer is no stranger to Sherlock Holmes games, having done several for PC. This translates to a solid and commendable mystery adventure game, and a welcome addition to the saga of Holmes.
Focus Home Interactive, who Game-Modo recently described as a dark horse in publishing, have just got involved in a new Humble Bundle. They’re offering eight quality games for you to buy in a bundle while letting you do your bit for charity.
I grabbed it. I was interested enough already to try out the Game of Thrones . . .game (though I hear it is less than great).
Already owned Divinity 2, though that game is fantastic in itself.
Cities, Game of Thrones and Testament of Sherlock Holmes was worth the $25 I spent either way. Some of the other games seem interesting enough and I will probably get to them in time.
I bought it just for div 2, great game. The rest will just be icing if they turn out to be good, haven't got around to playing any yet as i'm in the middle of another play through of Oblivion lol.
An error on Xbox Live allows UK users to download Dark, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, and WRC Powerslide, Pixel Enemy has confirmed.
In other news, an error on the part of Xbox Live customers caused them to download and play Dark, The Testament of Sherlock Holmes and WRC Powerslide. Victims of this error suffered side effects ranging from disappointment to unconsciousness. Police as yet have no theories.
