The student council at Saint Mary's University in Halifax banned a video gaming society's promo poster because it included a picture of the old school Nintendo Zapper.
The image was deemed inappropriate by the Saint Mary's Student Association because it depicted a "gun."
The plastic video game controller is used with with the thirty-year-old Nintendo Entertainment system, usually with the game Duck Hunt.
The reissued ones are orange and grey, have a long connector cable at the base and zap light squares at the TV.
