Kabam and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have partnered to co-publish videogames for mobile devices and internet platforms inspired by Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit Trilogy, the forthcoming motion-picture adaptation of the J.R.R. Tolkien novel.
The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-Earth by Kabam is a mobile game available for iOS and Android devices, that’s based on the popular movie series. Just in case you’re wondering if this official game is free, you’ll be glad to know that it is. In the game you’ll be gathering friends to form powerful alliances and make your way to the top of the leaderboards. You can play as an Elf or a Dwarf, and join many of the characters made popular by J.R.R. Tolkien as you build your empire and dominate the realm of Middle Earth. Since this game may be, for some, just about as immersive as Tolkien’s books, you can benefit by checking out the following The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-Earth cheats, tips and strategies to help you rule Middle Earth.
AppsGoer has featured a list of best free to play iOS MMORTS of the year 2013. The list includes Clash of Clans, Galaxy on Fire – Alliances, Samurai Siege, The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle Earth, Pirates Journey: Into the Caribbean and Castle Clash.
Gamesauce says: "All Lord of the Rings fans will remember that the movie, The Hobbit, An Unexpected Journey, set a new record of $84.5 in box office revenue when it opened. It was the inspiration for Kabam’s game, The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth, which allowed players to immerse themselves in the world of Middle-earth."
Forget that. Just remake The Two Towers and Return of the King for XBLA and PSN and that would make a lot of people happy.
Let CD Projekt Red make it for pc! It would be good then and avoid the mass appeal of console development. Then they could port to console later. Worked for the witcher 2.
Its just gonna be another poor quality game based on the movies/book
So sad their not full fledged games. Hobbit kingdoms of middle earth? The hobbit is a story of adventure think of the beginning of the fellowship their is hardly any full on wars except SPOILERS in the end.
Still not thrilled they are splitting the Hobbit into another trilogy...
