Thing is its games like FF13 - and maybe FF13 only - which have given linearity a very bad name this gen. It was done that poorly.

That was my main issue with the game, that and Hope as a character for about 70% of the story lol.

Linear should never be a part of any game. Exploration is always fun. Who wants to go from a to b, b to c, c to d, and so on. BORING. Stop being lazy, devs.
