PlayStation Mobile Review Highlights | Aqua Kitty, Fuel Tiracas & Super Crate Box

Dealspwn.com reviews five of the best PlayStation Mobile launch games.

"Upon booting up Aqua Kitty, your eyes will initially be attracted to the first part of the title. After all, everyone loves cats and including a bunch of moggies certainly won't hurt sales. You'll then be floored by the the gorgeous big pixel art style, but most savvy gamers will quickly realise that Defender is the operative work here. Aqua Kitty is a gorgeous and responsive reimagining of Williams Electronics' classic arcade game, packed with hectic action, rock-solid mechanics and a superb chiptune soundtrack.

It's also one of the best Vita games on the market."

Will most likely dwindle and be forgotten about just like minis, digital comics etc.

Premature negativity and jumping to conclusions. That is all most gamers are good at these days.

i saw someone in another article talking about super crate box, and while i usually don't buy these types of games i decided WTH.

man that game is addictive lol, and surprisingly challenging. i think PS Mobile will be a good thing for the Vita.

I hope not. Indie development is now one of the most exciting and expanding market sectors out there, and Sony has shown a great degree of forward-thinking and foresight in supporting the scene.

PSM, the Indie Pub Fund, and partnering with studios like thatgamecompany, Giant Sparrow etc demonstrates that Sony are committed to supporting varied and exciting indie games, which can only come back to them in a good way.

It's a shame that Microsoft aren't getting involved anywhere near as much as they should be. XBLIG could have been awesome if they bothered to advertise and support the developers involved. With luck, Minis and PSM will become increasingly popular, especially since many big-name developers are starting to 'go indie.'

Sony needs to release an Xperia play 2

No more smart phones please..

I liked the fact that it has real buttons, playing emulators on it is great for a gaming smartphone. They just need to improve it with better graphics and dual analog sticks.

I can understand that for Emulators. Having dual analog sticks on a smartphone though practically makes it a gaming device at the point.

I just fear the day that actually happens where phones are truly full on dedicated gaming platforms, people are going to only care about that and handhelds of any other nature will quickly fade.

Just my thought. I guess if handhelds stay a step above they won't have to worry but phones are just becoming more ridiculous by the day while handhelds aren't made everyday.

I am not too sure if that will ever happen unless they are more like Nintendo analog sticks. Flat, maybe it could work that way.
