That's not really that impressive, a lot of older cards can easily handle game titles...for a lot less money too I'm betting. This card is complete overkill and unnecessary.

Overkill is an understatement, but that is exactly what advances everything over time.

If anyone is curious the card is $1k and should run BF3 at max settings at a constant 60+fps at a 4k resolution who's monitor alone will set you back a cool $11k minimum.

I think at $1000 it's a little bit past even "hardcore."

This is a card for folks that wipe their asses with hundred dollar bills and have gardeners with names like Juan and Pedro that they frequently accuse of stealing lawn equipment.
