Kotaku - Some people may have noticed that Resident Evil 6 is a bit more like a modern Gears of War game than it's like a classic Resident Evil game. Is that because you can now run and shoot at the same time? Is it because you're now in explosive adventures in a game that feels more like a war-time battle and less like a crawl through a haunted mansion?
A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment
For those who don't have time for massive open worlds or role-playing games with epic tales, these 15 games are worth checking out.
GF365: "The iconic survival horror franchise Resident Evil boasts a great number of popular and memorable characters. Arguably, Leon S. Kennedy is the most popular and recognizable character aside from Jill Valentine. In this article, we'll be counting down every Resident Evil game Leon is featured in, ranked."
Yeah I figured it would be ordered like this. For me Leons best game was his debut. RE2.
Resident Evil 6 plays like the typical third person cover shooter...Can't forget about Leon with the kung fu kicks and stone cold stunners.
Ha Ha, misleading but also totally true title :D
Gears of War is a VERY solid game. Just smooth and fun all around. Capcom needs to realize they can't be Gears. RE4 inspired Gears, but Capcom lost their way when they left their real devs go. There's a reason Naughty Dog THEMSELVES admitted Uncharted was their response to Gears.
Sony doesn't create, they copy and "respond" to what MS and Nintendo are doing. Move, Killzone, Resistance, Uncharted. That is why Sony's franchises sell so mediocre compared to MS and Nintendo's.

Uncharted's shooting is a few notches below Gears, just like Killzone and Resistance are laggy, linear and can't compare to Halo's sharp controls, big environments and creative AI. Just like Gran Turismo can't even hold 60fps and has 80% of cars looking like PS2 cars, and don't even have cockpit cams.
Capcom too, instead of keeping what they do best (60fps japanese DMC, awesome horror RE), they chase the western money with trash like Dragon's Dogma, RE6, DmC. All chasing the wrong tail.
Chasing other people leads nowhere. You'll always be 2nd or 3rd place. Capcom (and Sony) need to learn that.
LOL.....
