Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, announce that it has reached an agreement with Bethesda Softworks to publish the blockbuster role-playing game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on PlayStation Portable (PSP).
Harvest Moon: Back to Nature is a captivating farming simulation game released for the PlayStation 1 back in 1999. It has etched itself into the annals of gaming history, as well as being the spiritual predecessor for numerous similar games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.
I put countless hours into this game... I think this is the one where I accidentally killed my dog from only feeding it nuts and berries, lol. Can't recall, as I played so many different Harvest Moon games throughout the years growing up.
From the Amazing Spider-Man series to the most recent titles and DLCs, explore which Spider-Man game deserves to be ranked first and why.
Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Ultimate Spider-Man use to be my favorite until Insomniac games took over.
My favorite and still champion Spiderman PS2, followed by Marvels Spiderman2, then Miles Morales, followed by Marvels Spiderman, and finally Ultimate Spiderman.
I need to drag out my PS3 and try Web of Shadows, owned the game for years and years and never played.
Spider-Man (2000), Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro, and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions were all so good! I have fond memories playing them.
Cultured Vultures: We’re ranking every Sony PlayStation console released over the years, ranging from the handhelds that were far ahead of their time to home consoles that would probably sell today if they were still being manufactured.
I have fond memories of all of them. I'd have to say my personal #1 is the PS3. It still holds up today unlike PS1 and PS2 which both had excellent libraries of games but many of which did not age all that great. which is why in the PS3 era we were introduced to HD remasters.
The PS4 was the better seller, but i feel it didnt take as many risks to get that reward as the 3 did. And obviously the PS2 was the popular one that gave birth to many of my favorite franchises (killzone, GoW, Ratchet) but like i said above, those games were remastered in HD for PS3.
PS5 is still in its growing phase but i do like how it makes 4 games better. I keep holding out hope they will enable PS3 support for discs then it would probably be my new #1. PS1 is the grand daddy, but sadly it just doesnt hold up in in the current conditions. Especially the 3d games, i have no nostalgia for those anymore thanks to being able to play them in better (higher) quality in remaster or even emulation. When even a Dreamcast can make a PS1 game look and play better... why play them on the PS1. PS1 did have some awesome shmups though..
PSP and Vita... both excellent portables and i would say i like the Vita more due to it being able to play the plethora of PSP games (converted to digital) as well as the PS1 classics and Minis that the PSP could do but also its own selection of games. Vita had the better screen, better controls and is just a better all around PSP than even the PSP.
They were all great for their time.
PS3 had a slow start but I was playing my PS1/2 collection on the fat and it hit its stride and released some great games.
Honestly, they were all great. Even the Vita which is considered a "flop" is quite a gem.
I love them all but PS2 takes the cake as best console of all time for me.
