SuperPhillip Central writes, "I'm sure you read the title of this article and did a double take. Perhaps if you had a liquid in your mouth, you spit it all over your screen. Sorry about that. You might say to yourself, "The Wii doesn't even have ten games were playing, so how can you possibly list fifty?!" Well, this series of five articles is intended for such uninformed statements. You might look at a game on this list, and laugh. They might not all be AAA blockbusters, but a great game is a great game regardless of content or budget. Lots of people learned that lesson with the Wii and handhelds devices.
On this week's installment of The 50 Best Nintendo Wii Games, we have a cornucopia of genres and franchises being represented. We have platforming, shooting, survival-horror, swordplay, and even some golf thrown in for good measure (yes, golf). Perhaps this second list of ten best Wii games will pique your curiosity and make you "dust off" that Wii of yours and try a game out you would never have known about otherwise."
The classic Resident Evil 4 GameCube release, the title that redfined the hugely popular series, debuted 20 years ago today.
Bought it the day it came out. Probably the most graphically impressive GameCube game.
The most influential game of all time. Along with the movie Aliens, it has shaped the industry.
The gameplay and narrative influence on horror video games from Capcom's critically acclaimed Resident Evil 4 can still be felt 20 years later.
I'm hoping the updated version gets released on the next Switch, I'd love to have it portable.
Resident Evil 4 Remake has continued to sell like hotcakes, now surpassing the 9 million copies sold milestone worldwide.
Didnt enjoy this as much as I thought I would of seeing how the orginal 4 is my favorite entry in the series next to RE 2. That's the better remake imo.
Just got done playing a session on PSVR 2. Its a lot of fun and a worthy remake of the original Mikami masterpiece. I'll play more tomorrow! 😁
TLOU2 sold 10m in less time and on PS4 only. Many Druckmann haters like to pretend it's a flop and that Japanese games like this are what the people want.

Skyward Sword was an amazing game. I have played it a couple of times. It's almost as good as Ocarina of Time. I've had a lot of fun with my Wii. I just wish it could have put out more games that I would have enjoyed. Hopefully the Wii U changes that. Based on the launch lineup, it will.
