Dogfight 1942 was announced a while ago under the name Combat Wings way back in May of 2011. It promised cutting-edge flight dynamics with unprecedented arcade accessibility. Jump forward to September 2012 and Dogfight 1942 is here. City Interactive has created a very good but overall straight-forward experience that might be fun for some, but really does nothing new with the genre.
Well this is a very disappointing month for reduced content.
Richard Berry: "It’s great to see support for local co-op but with the omission of online co-op I feel City Interactive have missed a trick here, especially as Damage Inc. is a lot of fun when played online. Heavy reliance on ace mode can make the game far too easy but take down your foes using your own aerial skills and Dogfight 1942 will certainly give you a challenge."
