The Japanese box art, as well as several comparison screenshots, has been revealed for the upcoming Playstation 3 title, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky HD Edition.
Falcom will complete the Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky HD remastered trilogy before the next game in the Trails series comes out.
Yakuza 5 will not be localized but this makes me happy. A truly old-school JRPG with HD sprites and everything! WOOOOOoooOOOoooooo
edit: only Japan though... Dammit!
News like this really ruins my day.
I'd love to play it, but I realize the chances of a localization are slim to none.
It's the gaming equivalent of a prick tease.
How feasible is a Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter localization? Well, the odds got a lot better now that Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter HD Edition has been announced. This article looks over what XSEED could do to give North America more The Legend of Heroes goodness.
Anyone who hasn't played Trails in the Sky should absolutely check it out if they are into jrpgs at all. Great gameplay and story. Simply one of my favorite games of all time. I really hope XSEED comes through with the second chapter and the HD releases would be fantastic as well.
I pray that xseed, nis, and aksys gets absorbed/merged with Atlus. Because production costs will only rise next gen so they'll need to stick together.
My understanding is that XSEED was already working on the PSP translation...but there is twice as much dialog in SC as there is in FC so its going to take a while.
Don't know how much they have done on it, if any at all, but it would be nice if they just go ahead and go for the PSN version.
They should rerelease FC to PS3 (they already done with the ps3 version) and release the second one on PS3 too.
The reason the first one sold pretty bad on PSP is also because the system is dead here.
Falcom is bringing its first Legend of Heroes game to PlayStation 3 on December 13 in Japan via a high-definition update of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. But that’s not all it has in store for the console.
JRPGs are needed this generation, so when the next generation comes in, new gamers in the form of adolescents will get to love JRPGs once again, similar to the PS1-PS2 era. I guess the reason why FPS fluorished this gen is because of the new gamers being exposed primarily to FPS games.
We need a JRPG Renaissance and the time is now!
So who else forgot Sony's provided for a why to do quick and easy ports from PSP to PS3? Was hoping that this would be more than it is?
Though I'll still get it if its localized. May just get the PSP version.
I'm glad this game is coming to the PS3
PLEASE localize this!
Oh please, I hope XSEED brings this over like they did with the PSP version.
