PSM3 Rumor: Has Capcom Handed Another Franchise Over To The Lost Planet 3 Developers?

Spark Unlimited may be keeping busy these days with the 2013 release of Lost Planet 3 ( PS3, 360, PC ) and the recently announced action game Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z ( to be published by Tecmo Koei ), but could the California based studio have another project up its sleeves?

I really wish they would outsource their games to some better dev teams. Spark Unlimited shooters have been pretty bad so its always odd to see them pick a dev like that over another.
Its like with Bionic Commando remake that they outsourced that to GRIN. GRIN ended up filling for bankruptcy and closed the studio down after that game got released.

Disc-Locked Content includes unlocking mixtable records as weapons, a music pack featuring new singles from washed up rappers, and Pimp Mode that allows you to defeat female enemies with a Pimp Slap QTE.

Further DLC is planned.

Dammit, they're going to sell us the true ending where Samanosuke goes to prison for drug dealing aren't they?

The last thing we need is another Japanese cult classic turning into a westernized also-ran. Wouldn't shock me if this game will have some kind of shooter elements, or becomes a flat out shoooter LOL I expect a lot of cutscenes and an overall movie-driven experience.

Man I miss the 5th and 6th gens. Please Japanese devs, there is a market for your games here, there's no need to drastically change them to "fit" Americans.

please, if they do make onimusha, make it for ps4, do not bother putting it on a 7 year old system, unless you are going to use static backrounds and fixed camerea, which i'd be cool with, then it could look freaking epic, consoles still do not have the power this gen to do jaw dropping, fully realized worlds, uncharted 2 was close, but the jaggies and low res textures killed it.

after crysis in 2007, there really was no hope for consoles to ever be impressive again to anyone with a decent rig
