Ubisoft: Assassin's Creed 3 sequels depend on reaction to new hero Connor

Ubisoft has said that further Assassin's Creed games featuring new hero Connor could be in the pipeline should gamers warm to the character.

Assassin's Creed 3 will follow a trilogy of titles featuring Renaissance hunk Ezio Auditore, which ended in the slightly lacklustre Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

"We made three games with Ezio because people loved Ezio," Assassin's Creed 3 associate producer Julien Laferrière told Eurogamer. But could he see the same pattern repeating itself for the series' new American Revolution setting?

"We made three games with Ezio because people loved Ezio" you made them for more money, you even said in another article that AC3 wouldn't of been possible without an annual release

People could hate Connor, find him bland, boring and you would still make sequels, it's inevitable

I think they meant they would have taken another character if people hated Ezio, but yeah, like you said the annual release would have occured anyway. And don't be surprised to see some kind of ACIII-2 next year.

I liked Altair more than I liked Ezio and that poor sap only got one game.
