Watch A Ton of Amazing Assassin's Creed III Videos

IGN:

In the coming days and weeks you're going to hear a lot about Assassin's Creed III, through our impressions of the game when we recently played it to much more from our studio visit in the 'Making Assassin's Creed III' video series. All that is good, but at the end of the day we know you kind of just want to watch a bunch of footage and drool over it. So let's do that.

Well the 360 version is CLEARLY the weakest version...the only thing it has going for it is XBOXLIVE....which is awesome...I think I am going to get the Wii U version...I want to try the Wii U gamepad with no pause weapons switching, and Xbox will not be in 1080p but Wii U will...The thing about Wii U that worries me is online play, cause xbox360 is awesome with that..But I am going to try Wii U.

What are you talking about? Most of the Assassin's Creed games have ran a little better on the 360.

Anyway, Im getting the PC version...just like the past Assassin's Creed games. It will look amazing.

Yup I am getting liberation to keep me going until PC version launches, Glad they adding dx11 support as well.

Hunting a "Moose" gameplay? That's not a moose, it's an Elk

THE-COMMANDER4229d ago

OMG did you see how the combat works!!

Xof4229d ago

No thanks.

I've been well-served not paying any attention to AC media. I watched all the stuff for AC1 and was terribly disappointed. I watched one preview of AC2 and it spoiled what ended up being my single favorite part of the game.

I'll be going into AC3 blind, thank you very much.

...

I just wish I were going into it today.

I'll be going in somewhat blind. I didn't watch a single AC1 video and wasn't dissapointed at all. I watched one gameplay video for AC2 when it came out and then got it. For AC3, I only watch videos that have nothing to do with story. I don't even like to watch gameplay videos that much because I want to discover all of it myself.

Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK269d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder268d ago (Edited 268d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
