Asia-Pacific PC sales up 21 per cent in 2007

Sales of personal computers (PCs) in the Asia-Pacific region were up 20.9 per cent last year from 2006 with notebooks a key growth driver, the high-tech research firm IDC said in a report Thursday. Excluding Japan, sales during the fourth quarter grew 1 per cent from the third quarter and reached 18.1 million units for the year, IDC said.
