TR - Rock Band Blitz is not the Rock Band you might know and love. It’s played with a standard DualShock 3 or Xbox 360 controller, with no plastic instrument peripherals in sight. All the trappings of Rock Band – building a band, playing venues, working your way up the pile – are pretty much gone. Musicians, licensed guitars and concert footage backgrounds are out, and everything is stripped back and streamlined to the core of a rhythm action game. Rock Band Blitz is all about the score – nothing more.

I only play a few times per year anymore but what about the songs that lost their contract and had to be removed? Should I not let it update?
The songs just get removed from the store. So long as you've already bought and downloaded them, you're fine to do any updates.

The Rock Band Blitz transfer shakout continues as the Rock Band music store makes its way to the final update on April 2. Rock Band Blitz is $15 and all 25 tracks are compatible with Rock Band.
