During a special stage event at the Tokyo Game Show today, Kojima Productions shared new details on Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.
Holy crap. Many open worlds connected by helicopter? Kojima, you crazy man.
This makes me doubt even more that the pc running it was console spec. On top of that you can't even buy a ps3 spec card today. It was discontinued four years ago. http://www.newegg.com/Produ... No way could this pc card run this game. It only get 18 fps on skyrim. http://www.youtube.com/watc... It can play bfbc2 on all low settings. http://www.youtube.com/watc... He can't really optimize pc like console so I think he is running on a higher spec pc. And like I said you cannot buy a gtx7800 today unless he got it used from ebay? And now it has many open worlds looking like that on console? idk.. I think something will be toned down for console. Also he said ps3 & 360 spec. Not ps3 spec. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
You "think" when Kojima "confirmed".
For some reason I am thinking that Hideo Kojima knows a LITTLE bit more about what is, and isn't possible when creating video games than you. I know it sounds crazy.... But I think that he just may know more than you. EDIT: Lmao I was hoping that you would disagree! Are you that full of yourself man? Come on, I know that you do not seriously think that you know more than him. It's just that false pride holding you back. I understand and forgive you. :)
Remember MGS 4 when the first things Kojima showed ran on PC ? It looked just as good on PS3. This is a new engine. It is going to look great. The downside is that it has loading screens between areas.
Lol at shutUpAndTakeMyMoney ! http://www.neogaf.com/forum...
Could it be possible that Kojima ran the game at the settings more in tune of that of the PS3/360. You don't need to get underperforming parts for that you know? Heck, many PC games could run at 480p with LOW settings if you want.
You probably change discs when moving between areas
Better than Installing between areas
One interesting point "The video that has been released is of the prologue stage" meaning that other stages are from the non-prologue period(s) of the game meaning that "Ground Zeroes" is NOT a prologue to MGS5 but a few stages are. I think this suggests that "Ground Zeroes" will be featuring multiple timelines that have variety of "open-world" sizes which makes sense. I think the "surprise" that is a awaiting us at Eurogamer Expo is not the release of a "new" Ground Zeroes footage but revealing the official name of the game which will be "Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes" through a new trailer that might show a different time period from what we've seen in the first trailer and probably more gameplay.
Evidence please. Just sounds like a load of speculation. Anyway, I hope Revengeance comes with a Ground Zeroes demo. Or at least a beta voucher for mgo 3 beta for Ground Zeroes.
But... that's what he was doing. He was speculating. He used the words "I think".
The link I provided below states that Kojima will be revealing a big surprise at Eurogamer Expo 6 days from now. A "surprise" wouldn't just be a new trailer of "Ground Zeroes", that surprise passed and was held in Tokyo on the 29th of August. I can think of two things Kojima might reveal that is related to Metal Gear. Either he reveals a new Metal Gear Solid game that is the epilogue of "Ground Zeroes" OR he reveals that "Ground Zeroes" is in fact "Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes" and shows new footage featuring a different time period of the game where we might see Solid Snake this time instead of Big Boss. That would be A BIG surprise. Source: http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
So the heli is pretty much your loading screen...?
Cool stuff. Love open world type games, and this is going to be one of them I will play a lot
wasn't this confirmed the same day the game was announced?
Look forward to hearing "it's just a box..." as I sneak around in a cardboard box ever so cleverly all over these locations.
awesome.. Is wii u getting this game?
Many open worlds? Awesome!
sounds so exciting next year will most likely be an exciting year more than this one.
