Images and Trailer of Gran Turismo HD

Sony and Polyphony Digital released this whole bunch of images along with a new trailer from the Premium version of Gran Turismo HD.

GT5 was so detailed to program for, it was taking them almost half a year to complete 1 car...don't know if it's true, but dang!

I've dyed my pants a golden amber colour, geezAH did you see that game? Flippin heck that looks SO awesome. The final bit in that trailer where the ferrari was driving towards the screen looks real. Absolutely real. That is the most impressive thing graphically i've seen on the ps3

By the way, there are 2 versions of GTHD set for release:

-Classic version and
-Premium version

The classic version consists of an upscaled version of GT4, with additional tweeks and in 1080p (i think), and what we saw there is the premium version. The premium version is basically a small taste of Gran Turismo with proper ps3 graphics. And that looks oh so sweet. Forza? What's a forza?

Hate to say it, but GT4 on PS2 is more realistic graphically than Forza 1 or 2.

That's why I love Microsoft. That was a trailer filled with actual gameplay. That is something Sony should do more of. Insted of always showing CGI movies. Great trailer

You should read the discussion that started in the article about the halo wars cgi presentation. Turns out both companies use cgi, as its a useful tool to give a perspective on the art design and to serve as a benchmark on how successful the game was in concept.

I really don't buy this. This smells like another Sony CGI screw job. I mean I have seen a few games on the PS3 that have shut me up like Motor Storm , I think they are lying to you guys again on this one. I'm gonna have to wait and see on this. These are the kind of graphics that CAN sell me a PS3

looks like a commercial with a toy car being shown on top of a picture. guess it's a good thing i don't really like racing games.

ill be the first to say it. i dont doubt that GT will actually look like this but to me the car doesnt look as good as the backgrounds but i am totally convinced that the 360 can handle backgrounds like that because they are just painted there , its not polygonal. Forza doesnt have cliffs because microsoft chose to do real world tracks. Oh and did any of you notice when the ferrari turned the corner how it glided like if it was on ice? Graphics isnt everything.
