Runic Games, the creators of Torchlight 2, did an Ask Me Anything (AMA) on Reddit a few moments ago. In that AMA several developers for Runic Games explained what their post-release plans are for Torchlight 2 and what their current plans are for the series. Most importantly they revealed that they want to do a different kind of game for their next release.
