Diablo III was a disaster when it came to DRM (Digital Rights Management). I honestly don’t think anyone can actually say they like the DRM integrated into Diablo III for one major reason. That major reason is the fact that Diablo III just does not have an actual single-player mode. When you booted up Diablo III for the first time, you probably noticed that upon starting the game you had to be connected to your Battle.net account before you could even begin playing the game. There was no other way to play single-player in an offline mode, you had to be online all the time. Not Torchlight II

Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
