GameStyle - There are a fair number of combat flight simulations on the consoles. From the ultra realistic Il Sturmavik to the more arcade based Ace Combat. Yet on XBLA the choice is very limited, with the stand out title being Snoopy Flying Ace, the excellent Crimson Skies clone. Dogfight 1942 hopes to fill that gap with its mix of combat arcade action.
Well this is a very disappointing month for reduced content.

They are having a 12 days of Christmas sale, from the 18-30th. Last years was actually really good, so hopefully this year is the same. The 'deals' this year have been terrible. The worst I have seen is the '33% off gamer-tag change'. THAT was a whole weeks deal. Wow.

Heavy reliance on ace mode can make the game far too easy but take down your foes using your own aerial skills and Dogfight 1942 will certainly give you a challenge."
