Final Fantasy popularised the bird-as-a-horse conceit with its iconic chocobos, and introduced the world to the concept of chocobo racing with Final Fantasy VII.
The basic premise of Keri Racing is the user takes on the role of a cowboy who happens to rescue a fantasy creature called “Keri”. After raising “Keri”, the user’s goal is to help Keri become the ultimate racing champion. The user can achieve this by constructing businesses and grow crops to make money and obtain food to keep Keri healthy and strong. They can also protect Keri’s happiness by getting rid of bug critters. The user can also customize their Keri character with over 55 different types of equipment to better Keri’s racing skills.
The world of Keri Racing is full of bird-raising farmers looking to make ends meet and possibly a name for themselves. Managing a farm while training and racing giant chicken-things isn’t exactly easy, but it’s rewarding work. At least it would be if it were really a thing. Even though it’s not, it’s easy enough to lose track of time between all the crop tending and Keri feeding.
