Siliconera - If you have a PSP you can play Unchained Blades now. FuRyu’s sequel, Unchained Blades Exxiv, features a new band of heroes drawn by different artists including a Dark Knight character from Yoshitaka Amano.
While Xseed are interested in localizing Corpse Party: Blood Drive on PS Vita, the final Corpse Party game on PSP, Sachiko’s Game of Love – Hysteric Birthday 2U, isn’t on their radar.

Xseed released FuRyu-developed dungeon crawler, Unchained Blades, as a download title on the PSP earlier this year, but its Nintendo eShop release is still pending. Why the delay?
When we asked Xseed’s Executive Vice President, Ken Berry, the same question earlier in the month, he shared: “We have to work through a lot of technical hurdles for the eShop release of Unchained Blades. We could be looking at an early December release if things continue to go well.”
Then, more recently, a fan on Xseed’s Facebook page (thanks: GoNintendo) asked about the possibility of the game’s sequel, Unchained Blades Exxiv, being localized. To this, Xseed replied: “We’re still struggling to get the original out on 3DS first. After that’s finally out the door (hopefully December), then maybe we can start thinking about the sequel.”
Siliconera: Furyu brought together a dozen artists for Unchained Blades Exxiv, the sequel to the PSP dungeon crawler Xseed released in North America. Durarara!! and Devil Survivor artist Suzuhito Yasuda created Unchained Blades Exxiv’s protagonist and Final Fantasy illustrator Yoshitaka Amano designed one of the villains.
