Hotly anticipated Celestoidvania, Lucid announces Kickstarter Demo release date. Exciting news for anyone backing the game.
To be honest, it would really suprise me if I got the money back. Until now, They need the money, and it would be a shame if it went REALLY bad for them because it failed. I still can't wait fore more news about Ouya ;)
It would be more surprising if it ever succeeds. Slim chances, but that's just my opinion. I can download any Android game off the internet if I want for free(Of course I don't do this) and this platform would make it really hard for developers to develop games.
Don't expect this to take off.Launching a console is a monumental task on its own, even if its got 3 million to spend in the launch.
I've never understood their business model. If I was a hacker/programer how does buying a Ouya help me when I could build my own system to work off android?
Surely that's the point of kickstarter and the gamble you take when you choose to become an "invester". If they could guarantee your stake, they wouldnt of need to be on kickstarter in the first place.
