GamesRadar - Though WiiWare isn't the most robust platform out there, a few games made the service worthwhile, including the watery puzzle adventure Fluidity. Now the storybook aesthetics and motion controls are coming to the 3DS in Fluidity: Spin Cycle, but this one makes full use of the handheld's motion sensors. As you'll see in the above video, you use physics to move a puddle through obstacles and switches, and you'll be turning your 3DS around and around to reach the goals. You'll find Fluidity: Spin Cycle on the 3DS eShop by the end of the year.
Gi - Fluidity: Spin Cycle developed by Cycle Studios and published by Nintendo came out on Dec 27, 2012 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS eShop, and serves as the sequel to Fluidity (originally for the Wii via WiiWare). Taking up where Fluidity left off, Fluidity: Spin Cycle has the player in control of a blob of water that is in actuality a “water spirit”, and once again accomplishes the amazing task of getting gamers to actually care about water. The game is one of the puzzle genre and continues the unique approach of its predecessor by taking advantage of the motion sensing capabilities of its chosen console to control the water spirit as it attempts to free the captured rainbow sprites of the game.
Mini Fortress is late to the party with their Fluidity: Spin Cycle review. However, the game impressed so much, a review had to be published.
"Back in 2010, Curve Studios developed a game under the supervision of Nintendo known as Fluidity (or Hydroventure for our PAL pals). The game released on WiiWare, and it involved tilting the Wii Remote to guide a pool of water through a multitude of cleverly designed areas. Two years later and Curve Studios returned to the franchise, this time with a release on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Fluidity: Spin Cycle is the sequel, and I couldn't be happier to see the little droplet of water that could return to create a new franchise for Nintendo.
