It’s all said and done. After months of wondering what will happen with NBA Live 13 and why it appeared at E3 and was never really seen again, the moment of truth for all of the patient and impatient Live fans.
For many years, EA’s NBA Live series was the premier basketball simulation for video gamers. They offered great graphics (at the time) and accessible enough gameplay to make the overall experience fun.
It seemed like the NBA Live series would go on forever much like the FIFA and Madden series. That is until recently when the NBA Live series went dormant. Will EA then revive NBA Live 14 for next generation consoles?
Hopefully im getting tire of 2k they are getting lazy and greedy with the stupid coin system
2k needs the compitition. Live is nothing compared to 2k but 2k has been lagging imo. Things as simple as rebounding are broken this year...shows how lax they are....like madden, I can only imagine how much better it would be if it had competition.
2k has glitches guys stealing balls with they back turned 3 point records being broke every game live please come back

i also voted down. not even going to give them the satisfaction of a hit because i'm willing to bet that half of the list is sony-related for no good reason.

I'm so sad about that, too. I'm a huge Diablo fanboy and I even bought the collector's edition. After about a week of playing, I just didn't feel like it was fun enough/worth it to bother with the higher difficulties.
I dropped the game afterwards and never went back. A damn shame, really...
Exactly how i feel as well... This is what happens when you make a game around a drm....
That's what happens when you pull out all the stat mechanics and skills choices and instead make every same level character identical except for their gear...
Granted it took awhile to level up a character in D2 but it was always fun to try out new and possibly stupid builds instead of giving us every single spell just for leveling up.
Only thing they got right was the Collosal failure of Diablo 3 a game thats been run into the ground by lack of content running act 3 can only be fun for a while and bots.
I thought swtor launched last year...sometime in early december if I remember right.

ohhhhh, its an opinion piece. I guess that makes it alright... O_o
There aren't many Vita games I would buy right now.
But purchasing a Vita would still be a good decisions for me personally because I never owned a PS1,Ps2,Ps3 or PSP. I get to play all but the PS3 games on the Vita. That is a huge back catalog of RPG's and other good games for me to play and most of those will be cheap since they are older games.
^ So considering that + the fact that Vita will be getting games for the next 5-8 years = I'm getting a Vita at some point.
I just don't want to rush in and get one the week before a sale like I did with 3DS.
I bought a 3DS at Gamestop, the next day they started offering Pilot Wings resort FREE with purchase. lol not for me though.
I knew there was something wrong with the lack of previews/gameplay vids.....2K will crush EA again most people won't even bother to download Live 13....
What are they thinking making it a downloadable game. NBA 2K13 will own this game.

Surprised EA didn't buy the NBA License like they did with the NFL, the 2K Basketball games slowly gained on NBA Live, finally overtaking it and sending Live into obscurity. NFL 2K5 was about to do the same thing to Madden, but EA bought the official NFL License.
They hate competition, surprised they are allowing themselves to get so thoroughly whooped.

I guess this is Karma for killing off 2k football. I used to love Football VGs. But lost interest in the years after it was ONLY madden to choose from.
I am glad that 2K keeps improving there game and will continue to even without strong competition from EA.
I cant see a XBLA or PSN game being on the level of a full disc release. Going to be interesting to see what happens.
I will try out NBA live 13 (demo-trial) for sure. Who knows...it may just be a solid title.
