Lens of Truth Writes "Welcome back for another exciting Head2Head! Today we will be putting Transformers Fall of Cybertron under the gun to see which version will become part of the “Fallen”, and which version will stand Tall! First things first, the beginning cinematic intro for this game kicked ass! Actually, all the cinematic cut scenes were top notch and very well done. Now come join us as we explore the differences between these two versions."
Activision's Transformers games have been relisted on the Xbox and Steam stores, suggesting they could be available in the future.
Aw snap, i pirated the first game since I couldn't get it on steam but couldn't get it to work. Guess i don't gotta go out of my way now. Now if only SONY worked with em to port over Edge of Time or remastered Shattered and Edge.
WTF? I’ve been wanting to replay Fall/War games. So bummed they didn’t make em backwards compatible. I think imma have to dig out my 360 out of storage
While originally only the PlayStation and Steam stores were affected, now all the Transformers games on Xbox One and Xbox 360 have been delisted from the marketplaces.
Legend of Korra has been delisted from all marketplace stores as well. The rights expired with Activision.
Jason Stettner of Gamerheadquarters writes; "Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was a remarkable game, it continued the story line that War setup and presented players with the world of Cybertron which is often only mentioned in most media. "
Both 'War for' and 'Fall of' are really well made games. Much better than any of the movie licensed ones.
I love these games way better then the movie crap that was put out. Too bad the third game Rise of the Dark Spark sucked they had a great franchise going on with War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron.
Holy Screen Tearing, do I need to even say which one??
i really hope that next gen sony has the good enough tech that way we don't have to deal with this shitty port bullcrap. same thing for every other console too.
Ken Kutaragi being the guy he is really made the PS3 way to complicated to program for with its 'new' tech. Sony's first party has the resources to work around the tech but i guess 3rd party studios are still trying to grasp what the system can & can not do.
Being it lazy or cost of development the XB360's almost PC style architecture is easier to handle & make things work. That is one thing Sony needs to improve with their next system & that is 'user' friendly hardware.
I might as well get it out of the way.
- my copy doesn't look like that
- LOT didn't turn on RGB or full white thingy
- LOT is biased against PS3
I think those are the 3 things that will be mentioned.
I find it funny how dev are starting to complain about this gen consoles being at their limit but yet we still see alot of crappy ports. I dont expect both version to be completely identical but close enough that the differences would be neglect able.
