The first thing you probably wondered when you heard that Cave was porting DoDonPachi Saidaioujou to Xbox 360 was will there be Kinect support?
Okay, so maybe you weren't wonder that, but just in case you were, Cave's Makoto Asada said in the latest issue of Famitsu Xbox 360 that the game will not have Kinect support. Cave decided against Kinect support out of cost considerations and concerns about just how many people in Japan actually want such support.

"When DoDonPachi Saidaioujou wasn’t announced for localization, while DoDonPachi Resurrection was, many shmup fans were quite disappointed, especially those who didn’t own a Japanese Xbox 360. In a shocking twist, it seems Cave has got our backs, and has announced via twitter that the game will be region free like a few of their other titles."
Cave usually adds extra content to their arcade ports and DoDonPachi Saidaioujou has an Xbox 360 exclusive character named Saya who carries a stuffed teddy bear and a pink bunny.
Cave is bringing DoDonPachi Saidaioujou to Xbox 360 and this version has a brand new mode. Xbox 360 mode adds Saya, Element Doll Z-002, who has Teddy and Bunny with her.
I used to love me some Dodonpachi back in the day. I might have to run to the store and pick up an XBLA card buy me some CAVE shooters just for old time's sake.
Anyways, can anyone explain why CAVE only supports the Xbox 360? It seems odd that a niche company would make a game exclusively for a console that doesn't have a large base in Japan. I understand if they were to just bring them to the West just for the 360.
I love Cave's shmups, I would love to see some for 3ds & vita
