Siliconera: Rune Factory 4 is the best-selling game in the series thus far, producer, Yoshifumi Hashimoto, reveals on the series’ blog, confirming what we already knew. The game debuted with 85,955 copies sold in its first week back in July.

While each dungeon has its own identity, the Rune Factory 4 Obsidian Mansion is one of the most detailed and environmentally interesting places.
Impressive! This is only Japans sales not including worldwide, and it already surpassed every game in the entire series... The 3DS is going to be the next PS2 of RPG's. At least that's the way I feel about it. Can't wait for Monster Hunter 4 and Bravely Default!
