Gamer Living's Blair Hicks brings down the sky in SNK's latest arcade shooter re-release; Chopper I.
Pocket Gamer: As a critic, you need to have a large vocabulary. If you're interested in becoming a games writer then Chopper I might just be for you - I managed to invent approximately 33 all-new swear words during my time with it.
This Minis re-release (currently for PSP only) of SNK's helicopter shmup is an unabashed coin-muncher from the arcades of the '80s.
Digital Chumps: SNK Playmore brings back another arcade classic in its large library of games with 1988's Chopper I. This game certainly redefines insane top-down shooters. While it doesn't have the charm of The Next Space when it comes to crazy power-ups amongst waves and waves of enemies, it certainly brings a new form of difficulty.
Drew Leachman writes: SNK is at it again with another PSP Mini classic. This time out, it’s Chopper I, a vertically scrolling shoot em up where you take the role of a helicopter pilot trying to infiltrate an enemy base all the while shooting down as many choppers, planes and other enemy armaments from both land or sea.
